Witness

In a Philadelphia train station, a sheltered Amish boy becomes the sole witness to a shocking murder that unfolds in a restroom. This traumatic event thrusts him into a world of danger, as his life is now at risk. To ensure his safety, the responsibility of protection falls to a stoic detective who must infiltrate the close-knit Pennsylvania Dutch community.

As the detective assumes a new identity, he navigates the complexities of Amish life while grappling with his own urban background. Amidst the idyllic farm setting, he gradually adapts to the slower pace and values of the community. His initial reservations begin to fade as he immerses himself in the daily rhythms of farm life.

As he builds trust with the boy and his family, a deep connection forms between him and the boy’s mother, a captivating woman with her own burdens.
