The Purge

Due to the overwhelming overcrowding of the nation’s prisons, the U.S. government implements a controversial measure: designated 12-hour periods during which all criminal activity is temporarily legal. These “Purge” events are intended to alleviate pressure on the prison system by offering a release valve for violence and lawlessness. During one of these sanctioned crime sprees, a family is forced to fight for survival when their home is targeted by ruthless intruders. As the clock ticks down, they must navigate the chaos outside and the increasing danger within, all while struggling to hold onto their lives and their humanity.
