Five years after their glory days in New York City, the once-celebrated Ghostbusters find themselves struggling to regain their former status. Following their infamous incident involving gooey roasted marshmallows, the team—now working odd jobs—faces an uphill battle to reclaim their credibility. Their situation takes a dark turn when Dana and her baby encounter a terrifying supernatural event, reigniting the need for the Ghostbusters to step in once more.
