District 9

Thirty years ago, aliens landed on Earth, not as conquerors or benefactors, but seeking refuge from their dying planet. Isolated from humans in a South African area known as District 9, these extraterrestrial beings are monitored by a corporation called Multi-National United (MNU). Rather than prioritizing the welfare of the aliens, MNU focuses solely on exploiting their advanced technology for profit.

When a field agent for MNU becomes infected with a strange virus that begins to alter his DNA, he finds himself in a precarious situation. With his transformation intensifying, he realizes that his only chance for survival lies within the confines of District 9. As he navigates the challenges of his new existence among the aliens, he must confront both his own humanity and the dark intentions of MNU, leading to a desperate struggle for acceptance and understanding in a world marked by fear and prejudice.
