Eleven-year-old Mildred’s world is turned upside down when her mother is hospitalized, leaving her in the care of her estranged father, the American magician Strawn Wise. Strawn, eager to connect with his daughter and provide her with some excitement, decides to take her on an adventurous camping trip in the wild and rugged landscapes of New Zealand.
