Derek Vineyard is released on parole after serving three years for the murder of two African-American men. Through the perspective of his younger brother, Danny Vineyard, we learn about Derek’s past as a skinhead and the leader of a brutal white supremacist gang that perpetrated numerous racial crimes in Los Angeles. Derek’s extremist beliefs and violent actions had a significant impact on Danny, shaping his worldview. Now, having undergone a profound transformation during his time in prison, Derek is determined to break free from his former life. He cuts ties with the gang and resolves to protect Danny from following in his footsteps. Fueled by regret and a desire for redemption, Derek strives to guide his brother toward a more positive future, hoping to prevent him from repeating the cycle of hate and violence that once consumed their lives.
