Gru and his wife, Lucy, must work together to stop Balthazar Bratt, a former child star from the ’80s, who has now turned into a villain. With his obsessive love for his past fame, Bratt has become dangerously fixated on achieving world domination. Using his knowledge of entertainment and the power of his nostalgic persona, Bratt has developed a series of elaborate plans to take over the world. Gru, who has recently turned away from his villainous ways, must join forces with Lucy, an agent of the Anti-Villain League, to thwart Bratt’s schemes. Together, they must navigate a series of thrilling confrontations, uncovering Bratt’s master plan while balancing their duties as parents to their three adopted daughters. As they race against time to stop the former star’s destructive path, Gru and Lucy’s teamwork and their dedication to their family are tested to the limits.
